Core Banking & Payments

The challenge

The platform needed to scale regionally and enable full digital financial services (onboarding, cash-in/cash-out, transfers, cards, and loans) on an architecture flexible enough for the expansion plan. The challenge was integrating multiple channels, core systems, payment methods, and external processors, and launching new products quickly, stably, and securely.

The solution

We put a team in place to implement Core Banking (Mambu) and the Payment Engine (Frame Banking) for the Colombia operation, and to orchestrate digital financial services on top of Adaptor PTS.

We designed and developed the wallet's onboarding flows, cash-in/cash-out, transfers, supplier payments, and debit card transaction and reconciliation processes, including integration with the Galileo card processor. We led API identification, standard messaging mapping, and service orchestration, as well as the design and support of loan management on Mambu.

Results

Deployment of a complete digital financial stack (core + payment engine + channels) integrating Mambu, Frame Banking, and Galileo into the client's daily operations. We led the Adaptor PTS implementation, enabling cash-in/cash-out, transfers, cards, supplier payments, and file-based reconciliation across multiple countries from a modular architecture reusable for future launches.

What stayed with the client

A modular architecture and standardized integration processes (APIs and mapped messaging) that let the client launch new financial products autonomously, along with functional knowledge transfer on Mambu and service orchestration in Frame Banking.
